KÖLD is our interpretation of the classic German Kölsch ale: golden, crispy, and refreshing. We brewed KÖLD for every day drinking, with an eye towards the social aspects of drinking—fun had with friends old and new, shared experiences, and conviviality. Brewed with a particular German ale yeast that brings hints of fruitiness to a malty–but–not–sweet body and restrained hopping, KÖLD is an eminently crushable study in balance.

12oz can from Tavour. Beautiful pour, pale, clear golden with a thick, stiff head, chunky lacing left behind. Biscuity, grainy aroma. Taste is malty, bready, a touch of dryness and a kiss of lemon. Spot on

My 765th Top 50 beer rating! 12 ounce can from Tavour. Medium gold color. Frothy white head leaves great lacing. Grainy malt aroma has minerally notes. Flavor is sweet grain and floral hops. Some dryness toward the backend. True to the style.

12 Fl Oz can from Total Wines, Laguna Hills. Drank at my daughters place on Saturday 15th June 2024. Gushed out the can and gave a slightly hazy light golden body with a huge white head. A little bitter but pleasant enough.

Can. Pours clear yellow, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is noble hop, biscuit, grass, straw. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Light body. Good enough.

Aromas are grass, solvent, malt and dry grain. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, loses the solvent, a bit more sweet than bitter with decent carbonation and body. Not bad, not great.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a ok dry malt but a better grassy hop. Flavor is more dry chalky malt with some green herbal hop. Finish leave a bit of bready malt on the tongue. Decent American version of a kolsch.
