Now in it's 7th vintage. We work with one of the largest mashes in our brewery to produce this delicate and decadent Imperial stout. To celebrate the 7th vintage we hand selected some of the finest small batch whiskey casks from our friends at Teeling's Irish Whiskey. This year's vintage was racked to those barrels back in October 2020

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Dark brown/black colour, beige foam. Roasty, notes of cocoa and coffee, subtle whisky finish. Not too sweet. Good Old School BA Stout.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Black body, off-white head. Alcohol, caramel, coconut, nutty notes, dry leathery touches, evident barrel. Barrely coconut-vanilla notes in the big malty taste, lovely barrel-malt backbone interaction, smooth, but quite simple. Like the drinkability of Galway Bay's big stuff!

0,5l bottle at Miros bday tasting, Zagreb. Vintage 22. Black color, almost no head. smells whisky, vanilla, spices, nutty. Very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes vanilla, nutty, sugary, coffee, salted caramel. finishes lightly sweet with notes of vanilla, salted caramel and coffee notes. Nice, interesting, gimmicky, but overall very good

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, roasty, toffee. Mild oak. Taste is full, sweet-bitter, very roasty. Some vanilla. Medium boozyness. wood is recognizable. Too dry-roasty for me, almost an ashy base. The sweetness really sits on top here, rather than to blend in. Medium thick body. Medium to medium high carbo.
