Bottle: Clear, deep-amber coloured, rather quickly collapsing fluffy "dirty" head; faint caramelly-fruity nose; light sweetish flavour, light bodied as well; delicate sweetish-malty finish. Not too bad......

300ml bottle. Nice, dark brown body with a beige head. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel. Flavor is extremely sweet malt with brown sugar. This taste like a non-alcoholic malt drink mixed with sodapop. Almost undrinkable in larger amounts (like a whole bottle).

Bottle, 2.5%. Very weak aroma, perhaps a bit roasted. Nice clear very dark brown colour. Very small brown head. Sweet flavour, brown sugar. Slightly roasted. Like a hvidtøl, only less sweet.

30 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a tan head. Yeasty and roasted malty aroma. Sweet and sugarish malty/caramel flavoured with a mild breadish note. Lasting sugarish malt impression into the far finish.

Bottled(300ml). -Reddish brown coloured, medium sized beige head that went away fast, sugary nose. The taste is very sweet malty and caramelish with notes of brown sugar and surprisingly hop bite in the finish.

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly deminishing head. Dark red-amber wonderfull colour. Modsearte malty very light hoppy aroma. Light sweet flavor. Average finish. Oily but thin palate. Not as sweet as danish "Hvidtøl" but that makes it a very nice beer.

Coca-Cola colour and ditto foam; just a bit more stable. Subdued sweet nose, caramely, vaguely grassy. Quite sweet start, immediately diminishing to more neutral, quite woody taste, not acidic. Flavour of water-colour paint, and milk sugar finish. Bit of tartness, rather dry after the initial sweetness. Knowing Dutch Oud Bruin and Flemish Oud bruin are different is one thing, experiencing it quite another. As far as the Dutch go, this one ranks amongst the better. Among the least sweet, too.

Clear brown color, small head of large bubbles. Sweet and slightly malty aroma. Tastes like liquid sirupy caramel. Typical commercial Dutch oud bruin, which is more a granny-beer.
