Dark blond colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have sweet juicy elements of mandarins. Also malt sweetness lingering in the background. Could really do with an extra kick of bitterness. Warmth of the alcohol is felt too.

Can. Hazy orange beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a little thin but a decent creamy sweetness nonetheless. Hops - lacking the minerally tang of the Barrier dipa I had before this and (for me) a better affair for it. Quite an array of hops went on to this one. I'm surprised that good old smooth El Dorado is quite upfront with soft floral citrus and a decent drop of Sakura. Ripe melon underneath. Light and slightly eatery streaked citrus. Something vaguely akin to a floral licorice streak, but very light. Mild and soft pine. Smooth floral fruity finish. Different. Not blowing me away but captured my attention by it's left field flavour array. Plus it's smooth and drinkable.

Goblet at The Roost pours a dark orange, opaque, lacey white head.  Grassy nose, limes and oranges, malt.  Flavor is fine, heavy malt, muddled citrus and tropicals fruit.  Bitter finish hides some boozy heat too.  Over done.  7 4 7 3 13
