Clear dark gold with small white top, minor retention. Standard malty aroma with some light grass and spice hop. Taste of grains, toffee, grass, light spice. Crisp carbonation, bitter finish. Not bad and better than expected.

Bottle from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Clear deeper golden with an extremely thin head. The brew does have a quality enough texture, and holds its own against a high alcohol content, but its lager taste is relatively bland.

Big boiii bottle from Aldi, Inverurie. It pours clear yellow - gold with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, hearty malt, honeyed cereal, toasty grain and hob nob biscuits. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, biscuity, honey, grassy, leafy, heady sweetness, rich maltage and a kick of booze with a toasty grain finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite a hearty lager bier. Works well someone.
