Pours burgundy into a tulip. Pink head with good retention recedes to mottle surface. Marshmallow and blackberry aromas. Dry with sweet black and blueberry upfront turning to aspirin in the dry, lasting finish.

Draught at the brewery, 1/8/17.
Incredibly hazy, cloudy even, bright violet and crimson body is topped by a pink and beige-flecked head, showing moderate retention. Really brilliant/attractive color on the body and I gotta say the haziness of beers has really grown on me.....
The nose has light sugars (mostly malt) adding a touch of honey behind the poignant, intense berry character. Intense in a good way, as it’s well-attenuated and not heavily jammy, yet nor is it so dry and acidic that it exacerbates the lactic acid. Clean and fruity, with a light funk and lots of berry character lingering.
In the mouth it’s dry with a soft, wheat-heavy texture with light-to-moderate, engaging carbonation. Lots of berry tannin, moderate acidity and just the right amount of jamminess. Very bright, clean and deliciously drinkable. Awesome beer, had two glasses of it. Maybe not the most "Berliner weisse-like" beer, but the new breed of American fruited weisses rarely are. This had strong wheat character and moderate lactic acidity, however, and wasn’t overdone on the fruit/sweetness, so it hit most of the marks.

4 oz. draft. Really noce deep, thick purple Color. Aroma is blackberry juice, funky yeast and strawberry seeds.
Flavor is blackberry heavy with a mild lingering yeast. It has a weak jam character. Maybe mild lemon. It is balanced pretty well. But how much sour can I do in one sitting?? I am pretty sure this brewery has covered every Berliner Weisse with every possible fruit imaginable at this point
