Pale gold with a frothy white head. Grainy aroma. Mild lemon peel and yeasty white bread. Taste is bittersweet trending bitter at the finish, which has a modest citric feel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Not bad.

On tap at Zum Franziskaner. Dark golden with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of grass, bread, some batter and hops. Medium body and bitterness.

50cl fles van Brecht. Troebel bleekgele kleur, witte kraag. Aroma van een klein beetje boter, citroen, mout. Smaak volgt, licht zuurtje, citroen, mist wat body of diepgang maar prima bier verder. Lichte body.

28-05-20 // 500ml bottle from Landbierparadies online shop. Unfiltered clear yellowish. White head. Logt sweet grain nose with some zest. Grainy-yeast Kellerstyle. Softer mouthfeel with lower carbonation. A light malt sweetness, light white bread. A soft hoppy bitterness with some grass aromas. Solid.

Im stein at the source. Yellow-ish color from the looks of it. Smell and taste malts, a bit funky, minerally, perhaps a bit dry finish. Decent body and carbonation. 6-3-6-3-13

On tap in the brewpub... Light blonde and cloudy, like a witbier. Pear and pineapple aroma. Hoppy flavor with just a bit of vanilla but refreshing as a weizen. Extraordinary beer, well made. Wish I had taken some bottles with me. Bottle: Blonde and cloudy. Soft hoppy, flowery aroma. Very hoppy, but not too bitter flavor. Lychee and the slightest hint of citrus. Vanilla. Longish hopbitter aftertaste. Exactly the same rating as the tap version.
