Orange color, cloudy with large chunks of yeast. Citric, slightly herbal aroma and flavor. Thin. Touch of yeast. Pear. Not the prime of the pack, but quite drinkable.

500ml bottle thanks to Kerlshtrinker. Many thanks! Poirs a misty orangey brown, medium off-white head. Aroma has some strange spicy herbal hints, cola, no weiz yeast. Taste presents quite a light body with a character that is more about overly-herbal cola and spice than any real weizenbier notes. Very strange and really did not expect this at all!

0.5 l bottle at ’Vormann Brauereiausschank’. Murky, dark brown with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, cloves, nuts, some caramel and hints of sewage. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of banana, cloves, vanilla, caramel, nuts and hints of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy and minimally sourish finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent.

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bräunliches Bier mit sehr viel beigem Schaum. Geruch würzig, fruchtig, leicht hefig, Ester. Geschmack nach reifem Obst, hefig, Karamell, röstmalzig.

Tiefbraune Farbe, beiger Schaum. Malzig-süßlicher Weizengeruch. Der Antrunk ist malzig-weizig, mild-weich. Im Hauptteil kommt die malzige, dunkle Hefenote durch, dabei ganz leicht säuerlich, angenehm hefig. Sehr süffig, toll! Der Nachgeschmack ist dunkelmalzig-hefig, leicht säuerlich frisch, ganz leicht herb.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, small head. Some fruity notes of plums modest sweet. Finish a bit unbalanced. Okay.

Bottle (courtesy of Koelschtrinker). Banana, clove, and caramel wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy orange-brown color with moderate head. Slightly sour wheat malt and clove flavor. Very watery finish. Aroma showed a lot of promise but flavor pretty weak.

leicht malziger Antrunk, sehr mild, kurz vor der Wässrigkeit. Leicht hefig, im Mittelteil wässrig. das Malz wirkt hier kläglich. Lascher, aber immerhin erfrischender und leicht bitterer Abgang. Auch das dunkle Weizen überzeugt nicht. Test vom 13.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,4,4,5,7,4

bottle, traded with MoritzF. Cloudy amber-golden colour, enormous head. Fruity and hoppy, hints of banana and another flavour which I can’t really describe. Somehow strange, but in a positive way.
