500 ml bottle, bb 30.09.26. Clear, golden body, with a big, very fluffy, slightly yellowish head.
Aroma of pale bread, flowers, grass, some hay, some hop spiciness, some yeast, slight biscuit. Tastes similar, a bit hoppier.
A bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes quite bitter, moderately dry, floral, hop spicy, grassy, slightly sweet.
Balanced, aromatic and quaffable, with lovely hop notes towards the finish. A bit too light bodied maybe, but a classic style example, very smooth to drink.

50cl fles bij Hahnenkammsee. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Licht metalig, licht moutig, licht fruitig, grassig, hint van honing, goed bitter, bitterder dan je verwacht van een Helles. Lichte body. Prima.

Bottle from Schneider's Getränke-Welt, Saarlouis. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy and moderate hoppy - straw and herbal. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 190725

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Brombachseer Hell, Flasche von Edeka Pfaller, Pappenheim. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase gediegen hopfenwürzige und fein zitrusfruchtige Spalter Hopfung über zartem hellen Malz. - Antrunk sauber und kernig hellmalzig mit der typischen, leicht trockenen Spalter Hopfenherbe, gediegen hopfenwürzig mit Fenchel und Anklängen an Bitterorange. Feine Restsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig, leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang fällt die Hopfung etwas ab und klingt zart teigig aus. - Trotz des leicht schwächelnden (aber sortentypischen) Abgangs ein großartiges Helles, das den Spalter Hopfen prächtig zur Geltung bringt. Viel zu schade für den Badesee. (18.10.2022.)
