Bottle. Clear dark brown. Small head, a lot of lace. Coffee, chocolate aroma with hints of alcohol. Taste, great coffee taste.

.5l bottle from Albertsons. Dark brown, patchy tan head. Aroma fills the nostrils, full roast malts, light sweetness. Amazing aroma is followed by a rich, deep sweet roasty flavor with the perfect amount of bitterness. Nice weight and a soft warmth. Wow!

Sold as Czarny Boss Porter in Ermelo. Deep dark brown color, almost opague. Coffee aroma with a touch of caramel. Just below medium bodied. Roasted malt, coffee, molasses, hints of apple. Likeable but somewhat grainy and sweet. No first class quality.

Pours dark, clear brown with a thin brown head. Aroma of nutty chocolate. Taste has a creamy mouthfeel along with intense roasted malt notes. Palate includes nutty notes that linger on the nose as well as a nice smokey finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of aromas of almonds, chalks, woody chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavors of sweet chocolate, praline, nougat, and dry roasted malts. Slick. Nice.

500 ml bottle. Since when is a porter Amber in color??? This is amber. Aroma shows mild toffee, toasted grain. Bread hints. Kind of a strong dark Amber lager. Kind of thin bodied. Not bad if you tell yourself it is not a porter.

Poured from bottle thanks Stacey brownish black tan head. Aroma is light roasted malt caramel yeast. Taste follows more like an amber lager than a porter.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with perhaps a bit of stone fruits. Taste is also malty, with dark fruits, nuts, burnt brown sugar, licorice notes. Good but not great.

Bottle shared with Couchsurfers Eric and Griff, cheers! Clear deep amber brown color, tan head. Nice aroma of burnt brownies, licorice, espresso. Taste is licorice and chocolate. Very nice.
