750ml bottle picked up at the brewery. It pours oily jet black with a decent.yan head. The aroma is big and boozey, intoxicating rum vibes, rum & cola, dried fruits, plum, raisin, cherry, eccles cake, toasty, milk chocolate, salty edge, rum & raisin ice cream. The taste is dry and toasty upfront, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, earthy, liquorice, slick, chewy, toothy, loads of dried fruits, raisin, sultana, cherry, Eccles cake, milk chocolate, warming booze, rum & raisin, fruit cake, gateaux, cherry, touch of spice and booze soaked oak with a dry, toasty finish. Medium - fulsome body and moderate carbonation. This rum barrel aged version is a big step up. Tasty.
