Can from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Nice liqueur-ish aroma with vinous moscatel, caramel, oak, nuts, touch of marzipan, dried fruits. Sweet flavour with a little alcohol in the finish. Medium to full body. Sweet and rich, lots of wood and moscatel notes in the finish. Very good.

Appearance: Cloudy deep amber with no head. Aroma: Pale malt, caramel, dried fruits, candy, oak, slightly funky. Taste: Light to medium sweet. Pale malt, caramel, dried fruits, candy, oak, hop, slightly funky. Mouth feel: Full minus body, soft carbonation. Summary: Good. Not as good as expected.

Very hazy dark amber colour, beige foam, disappears quickly. Sweet nose of dried fruit, sweet dessert wine, raisins. Warming alcohol finish.

At Borefts 2023. Deep amber brown colour lasting beige head. Vinuous aroma and mouthfeel. I liked it. Some orange flavour from the wine. Some good barley wine character. Solid I thought good. Liked it.
