Pours a quite hazy, nearly dense-looking golden with a medium sized rather compact white head. Quite good retention, moderate lacing. A quite fresh feeling, dominantly lactic aroma: light cerealy maltiness with a bit of dough-like feel to it, quite strong yogurt-like impression, relatively light (for a sour beer) notes of citric fruits (only lemon clearly discernible). Feels pleasantly fresh as mentioned, and decently vivid, but also quite monotonous. Taste notes follow the aroma closely. Again, decent intensity and good taste definition, but also monotonous. Pretty sweet, bitterness not perceptible or nearly so. Undoubtedly sweet in the overall balance, but also decently attenuated and clean with moderate sourness bringing a fresh feeling. Light to medium bodied, definitely denser than i expected for the abv, with average but very light bubbled carbonation; mouthfeel is something between creamy and smooth. I guess berliner weisse is indeed the closest style this beer can be related to, though it is not a classic berliner. I get the idea, this beer aims mainly at freshness and it delivers at that, but it also feels a bit boring.

1/XII/23 - 50cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 9/XI/24 (2023-1119)
Clear blond yellow beer, big solid creamy to pillowy snow white head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, pretty fruity, peaches, some banana, sweet impression, a bit floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: surprisingly sourish start, I was not prepared for a sour beer! Clean acidity, fruity, lots of citrus, some grapefruit, more peaches, a bit lemony, pineapple, nice stuff!

Brassigaume 2023. Clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, some grains, stone fruits. Taste of tart stone fruits, apricot, yeast, pale malt, light body.

Pâle/dorée, col blanc épais.
Arôme sur un bouquet agrumes - pointe délicate oscillant vers un fumé presque sur une approche Lichtenhainer.
Palais est assez classique dans une lignée Berliner Weisse, fine note acidulé, grains léger avec un caractère citronné. Légère rondeur du grains.
Essai sympatique de Rulles vers une Berliner qui reprend un approche classique sans avoir besoin d'ajout fruité comme vu dans bon nombre de 'sour ale'.
