Meusel-Bräu Spezial-Märzen (ja, auf dem Etikett steht ein Bindestrich, Ihr Legastheniker!), Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Bronzegold, klar; spärlicher Schaum. - In der Nase mildes, schwach toastiges Malz und nur blasse herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk leicht toastig-hellmalzig mit sehr milder hopfenwürziger Herbe. Milde, schwach karamellige Restsüße. Milder rezent, für ein Märzen recht leicht im Körper. Im Abgang kommen auch keine Überraschungen mehr. - Ganz auf Leichtigkeit und Süffigkeit getrimmtes Märzen, das nur durch dezentes Toastmalz an seine ursprüngliche Bestimmung erinnert. Kann man mögen, muß man aber nicht. (8.6.2021.)

Orange color, hazy. Malt, chewing gum and licorice in aroma and flavor. Sweetish, full bodied, pineapple. Just a hint of plastic. Nice beer. december 2011. Golden color. Peach and malt in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with distant grassy notes and a hint of peach.

Bottle at the brewery. Deep gold colour amber lasting off white head. Quite a malty beer. Good balance. Abv is certainly warming. Some hops on end. Some light toffee. Good marzen.

Bottled. Hazy deeep golden, small head. Fruity bready nose. Mid sweet with medium and well rounded mouthfeel. Dough and grass, fruity and bready. Low-medium bitterness.

Klare orangegelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig, getreidig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, hopfig, grasig, leicht würzig.

Dunkelgoldene Farbe, würziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig-malzig, leicht süßlich. Zum Hauptteil wird das Bier weich-malzig-süßlich. ganz leicht herb. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, würzig-süßlich und ganz leicht malzig-herb.

Bottle. Very light barley malt and herbal hops aroma. Slight hazy golden yellow color with small head. Slight sweet/bitter vegetal/celery flavor. Medium body. Not a fan of the flavor.

Bottled from Bierzwerg. Dark golden color with small white head. Aroma, caramel, roasted bread, notes of coffee. Taste, surprisingly coffee, follows with caramel. Little bit watery.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear and initial sparkling, a medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, toasted, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100513]
