bottle, traded with derkaro - thanks. Clear dark brown, nearly black colour, large beige head. Malty nose with hints of roasetd malt. Full-bodied, not too sweet but very malty flavour, hints of roasted malt and caramel. Slightly dry and hoppy - well-balanced Schwarzbier. Good.

Bottle, 5.1%. The aroma starts off metallic, then turns OK roasted. Clear very dark brown colour. Small tan head. Good roasted flavour, slightly sweet, finishing on a slight liquorice note. Thin mouthfeel as is to be expected.

Bottled. A mix between ruby red and very dark amber colour (depending of light setting), with small offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malts with hints of caramel. Flavour is hayish and roasted malts. Some caramel and burnt wood also there. Aftertaste caramel, roasted malts and burnt wood. Pleasant mixed and wellbalanced beer.

[Bottled] (BB 08/2006). Dark ruby color, small tan head. Strong metallic brown sugar aroma. Roasted malty, burned sugar flavor. Quite cheap feeling here. Dry mouthfeel.

(bottle) Clear and very dark almost black colour with a reddish shine and a foamy tanned medium head. Roasted malt aroma with hints of caramel and herbal hops. Dry roastmalty flavour and taste with shy chocolate notes and a malty and herbal hoppy bitter finish. Balanced, tasty and decent Schwarzbier.

Bottle: Very dark amber coloured, but not really "schwarz", huge, fluffy brownish, rather quickly diminishing; dry malty nose, traces of roasted malt, a tinge of caramel; (roast-)malty flavour, only slightly sweetish; light bodied, but not watery at all; a mix of sweet and dry (malty) flavours in the short finish with a faint, but distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant and decent Schwarzbier.....................

Bottle
Handsome dark chestnut with a creamy brown head. Fresh herbal hop aroma. medium to light malt body, light roast and chocolate, fresh bittering hops - dry finish. Pretty much what a Schwarzbier should be like.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful dark brown with a reddish glow and a beige head. Nose full of roasted malt. Light body, quite dry with roasted - perhaps even lightly burned - notes. A light, underlying caramel sweetness. Perfectly balanced. An excellent Schwartbier. 231005

A deep red beer with a beutiful though collapsing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted bread. The flavor is slightly sour with notes of roasted bread and caramel before a slightly acidic end sets in. The body is thin.
