355ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and fruity aroma, notes of chocolate and raspberry syrup, hints of praline, a touch of nougat, weak marmite overones. Taste is chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, fruity, minimally alcoholic, notes of raspberry, hints of chocolate, caramel, some Bourbon, a touch of honey, nougat; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Surprisingly watery texture, minimally cloying palate, medium, scatered, mildly prickly carbonation. Slightly artificial and disharmonious, unbalanced - not fully convincing.

(Draught at Beerlovers Bar, Antwerpen, 20 Oct 2022) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, raspberries, toffee, caramel, vanilla, bourbon and wood. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, raspberries, toffee, caramel, vanilla, oak wood, bourbon, coffee and a mild roasty bitterness in a vinous finish. Full body, quite sweet. Hardly in perfect balance, but really rich, heavy and tasty. Very nice.

12 ounce bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, 12/25/22. Thought a couple Central Waters kringle stouts would be a nice way to finish up Christmas. Very dark brown, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, raspberry, cocoa, A bit buttery. Taste is vanilla, cocoa, coconut, raspberry, whiskey. Booze very well hidden. Tad bit thin for style. Overall quite nice.
