Can. Pours clear golden yellow with a foamy light beige head, faint citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, initially sweetish then medium bitter citrusy taste, faint piney flavor, smooth body, long citrusy finish. Decent.

For the most part, it's basically the same as Broken Heels but with more malts, more hops and a bigger ABV.

19.2 oz. can. Pours a murky, dull, orange color, with a fair, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is tangerine, grains of paradise, peach rings, vanilla, and leather. Sweet and phenoic, with a mellow, grassy bitterness. Medium body, sharp and hot. Fair.

Can shared by mansquito, thanks a lot! Pleasantly fruity, grassy, citric, and slightly bitter. Light to medium bodied, drinks below the ABV.

Hazy orange with a medium sized foamy head. Bitterish and sweetish with strong orange and light tropical fruit and floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Super hazy and straw golden coloured body with a very thin off-white head that's only one centimetre tall and fades pretty quickly. Aroma of oranges, grass, light perfume, some alcohol and a touch of metal astringency. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Very deep astringency from metal and especially warmth from alcohol is very noticeable here, with a deep pungency and leaving a strong finish with a lot of malt and body here, too making this not-so easy-drinking at all. Aftertaste shows some herbal and light pepper notes, but the deeper hop bitterness and slightly more subdued citrus flavours show throughout. Overall, a very strong and pretty pungent IPA overall that has some citrus and newer school flavours , but a lot of hop bitterness from alpha acids ensues, as does the rich malts, alcohol warmth and pure Imperial Status. Nice to sample, but THIS format coupled with how rich this is makes for a not great combination - this would be much more reasonable in a twelve ounce can...but still nice to try, just Once! I sampled this 19,2 ounce can, purchased from Pat Deon Beverages in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania on 17-January-2022 for US$3,39 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-June-2022.

Pours hazy amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of pine resin, some lemon. Taste has biog tropical notes, pineapple, some passionfruit, some more pine. Palate is dominated by lingering resin, somewhat fruity, coats the mouth and leaves a residual effect on the nose. Not bad.

Ice cold can from a variety pack. From a can it almost pours like a milkshake IPA. Nice foamy head. Nose is immediately volatile pine tar signaling a terribly bitter palate ahead. First taste is terribly bitter hops, just like I was expecting. Even the ice-cold temp does nothing to hold back this rototilling kick in the face. After the first slug I get this mild warming sensation around the inside of my mouth and down the throat. Man, this taste is like thick viscous spruce tree sap mixed together with a brand-new chewed rubber inner tube. Look, I know I don't like sappy IPA but this stuff is certainly excessive. Nasty nellie negative knock on the noggin. I can barely handle this real man's brew. You like IPA? Put this mouth coating brew on your bucket list and ignore my numbers, whew.
