For this installment, we paired a blend of our Farmstead® ales—all of which rested in oak for more than 20 months—with organic wild Maine blueberries from Merrill Blueberry Farms in Hancock, Maine. This harmonized occurrence has rested in the bottle since May 2021, achieving its balance of complex acidity and seasonal fruit representation.

inky purple color. Medium tartness, medium blueberries with a touch of smokiness. Medium tartness, modest blueberries a touch of toast. Medium body. Low medium carbonation. Good but not amazing depth. It’s ok

Bottle, 375 ml at Miro B's Grande. Shared with him and Werckmeister. Ruby with small white head. Kind of juicy, blueberries, soft texture. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours clear magenta, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is pretty light, berry notes, HF funk. Brett notes. Flavor is light tart and light funky, a bit watery. Medium light body.

Bottle. Nose is big fresh blueberry, malt, leather, grapefruit, oak, grapes. Lots of oak in the nose. Big blueberry flavor, a touch smoky seeming, even bacon notes, from the oak I guess, grapefruit, oak. The fruit in this is excellent.

Hill Farmstead Blueberry 2020 Amazing blueberry purple color with a wisp of pinkish foam. The aroma is a musty blueberry waxy funk. Lovely soft body with loads of texture and complexity. Amazing blueberry jam with funk and cork mouth puckering light acidity. Ultra approachable blueberry sour. On point.

Pours deep purple into a shaker. Purple head with little retention recedes to nothing. Tart blueberry aromas. Sharp with tart blueberry and aspirin upfront turning to seed and skin in the medium length finish.

Bottle. Pours dark purple. Blueberry, funk, pear, red grape, bright tartness, sour cherry. Medium body. Nice.

0,375l bottle at Miro's Grande in Zagreb, thanks Miro. purple color, small pink head. smells joghurty, spices, berries, blueberries, jammy, almost smoky. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes smoky, spices, cinnamon, blueberries, jammy. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of blueberries, jammy notes and spices. lovely beer, love the balance, love the spices

Bottle at the house in Martha’s Vineyard - picked up from the brewery. Pours clear, fetching blue-purple-pink with a fleeting, creamy light pink head. Lightly sweet with bittersweet, lightly jammy blueberries, moderate acidity, a little plum, red currants. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Cleansing finish, further bright, tart and lightly jammy blueberries, balanced acidity. Excellent stuff.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a dark purple with small pinkish head. The aroma is blueberry and earth. Slick body, berry, oak, funk, lacto, mineral, very good.
