Draught @ Bronx Alehouse, Bronx (May 2023). Clear golden with a small frothy off-white head that flops fast, faint mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus, pineapple, mango, bubble gum taste, thin smooth body, long citrusy finish. I had never seen a clear 'hazy' IPA, very strange. However, it's tasteful enough.

Hazy gold pour. Thin foamy head. Lots of lace all over glass. Grapefruit and floral flavor. Medium bodied and carbonation. Bitter palate.

Lilly, rhubarb, clementine nose. Opaque pale orange, medium head. Grapefruit, rhubarb, orange. Grass finish. Full body, easy carbonation, resinous. A bit bitter for a hazy IPA, but very nice.

Draught at source: clear gold with white head. Aroma is lemony, herbal. Taste is sort of bitter, citrusy. Not bad.

16oz can pours a murky yellow with some white head. Nose has citrus, pith and zest, some under ripe melon, some stone fruit. Flavor is herbal and pithy, signs of an older can but not as oxidized as it could be, malt, citrus, soap. Finishes medium bodied, lightly pithy.

Illegible can date, drunk 12/15/22. Heavily hazy, peachy-golden-brass. Small, white head, recedes slowly to cover/ring. Nose is nice and dank, spicy and lightly citrusy. Some good white wine, mineral, earth from the Motueka. Some spicy pine on the end from the Simcoe. No onion, weird yeast, booze/resin. Cracker malt seems supportive and stays mostly out of the way. Clean, lots of light lime and tart citrus with lots of white wine and almost a watermelon character that you get from Tree House's best IPAs. Simcoe noticeable throughout and especially on the finish adding a higher than average amount of bitterness for a NEIPA (or hazy IPA). But damn if I'm not sick to death of fruity, insipidly sweet, no bittering hop IPAs, so this is a welcome change. Great balance, still soft and juicy with good honey and cracker-like malts. Just enough pine spice and bitterness to keep it quenching, dry and balanced. Just when I was getting sick of Grimm's IPAs too....
