Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 10/2011)
Slightly hazy amber color, mostly vanishing small head. Berryish, caramelly and grainy aroma. Light bodied. Grainy, a bit caramelly and tart flavor. Not too fresh bottle from Bierzwerg.

Only a slight haze to this amber-brown beer. The aroma leans towards breadcrust - a fairly full malt nose. Has a toasty character with bready malts. Perhaps a bit thin, but a nice beer.

Bottle:Chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, mid-sized loose off-white head, that quickly collapses; dryish malty-barnyardy aroma with a nutty and a fruity touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; short dryish nutty-fruity finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite O.K. .....

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a big and light-beige foamy head. Sweet toasty malty aroma with notes of toffee and subtle berry-fruity notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly toasted malty base with a tinge of berries, toffee and a whiff of hops; rather slim, slightly sweet and minimal bitter finish, again with subtle fruity notes. Not as sour as the last time I sampled it. Nothing special (07.VI.09).

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty with a hint of sausage (?) in the aroma. Medium-bodied, shy malty flavours with hints of caramel. Shy hoppy notes with a shy fruity sourness.

Draft. I have no idea of the color or clarity since it was served in a clay jar, but the head was fine. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, and the flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops. OK, but a bit boring.
