Don't tell us we didn't warn you! Autumn is on the horizon, and cooler temps are rolling into Boston with an influx of students. Each year, Move In weekend brings thousands of box trucks helmed by wide-eyed drivers unfamiliar with the nuances of our iconic road system, especially Storrow Drive. This main thoroughfare is dotted with low-clearance bridges that cause serious "Storrowed" level roof damage to those unaware. For Fall 2022, we brewed a new pale ale as our pre-emptive PSA to always read the signs: Trucks & Buses Must Exit Left!

Trucks & Buses Must Exit Left Pale Ale presents a deeply hazy, warm yellow straw hue. Leading with a dank nose of fresh pineapple and a melange of stone fruit, the palate follows with intensely juicy flavors of overripe mango, canned pear, and grapefruit peel. A kiss of sweetness is balanced by a gentle and resinous bitterness to round out this smooth & deliciously drinkable Pale Ale.

STYLE: Pale Ale

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale yellow chalky color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white pear, mango, grapefruit zest, pineapple and some passion fruit; clean biscuity malts
Flavor: bittersweet juicy and a touch of zippy zest to round that juice out a bit; great finish of the grapefruit zest, pears and mango
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness and a tickle of hop bitterness
Overall: a very nicely done NEPA very worthy of returning to

4 oz draft. Aroma is peach and apricot. The flavor is packed with fruit. Grapefruit, apricot, peach and maybe you could even say canned pears. 🍐 very easy to drink. I could kill a pint easily.

Can picked up at J&B Craft Drinks and drunk at home (09/11/2023) - Juicy fruity notes of pineapple and lemon, grapefruit, mango, sweet pale malty backing, balanced bitter hoppy into the finish. Tasty and easy drinking.

Pours a hazy, grapefruit juice color, with minimal head. Aroma is dank, with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, with an herbal tang and mild level of hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel seems a touch thin, but not a bad beer overall.
