Morrillbräu is a delicate pale lager, designed to showcase a grain bill of nearly 100% locally grown barley. A gentle floral aroma from the German Noble Hop, Spalt, gives way to a light cracker malt flavor. With a light body, this New Hampshire Landbier finishes dry with a faint spice note. Each pint contains 4 square feet of barley from Morrill Farms in Concord, NH, malted by Valley Malt in Holyoke, MA

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: soft golden yellow color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: hay/straw tones, light biscuity to cracker malts, some mineral water and a super light touch of herbal/floral tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet malty tone to a super light floral/herbal quality; finishes semi-crisp with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; very nice smoothness with nothing distracting; good carb
Overall: a very nicely done Kellerbier I'm sure to come back to.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a willi. Bright white head good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Hot caramel, hay and cracker aromas. Soft with sweet citrus, pepper and hay upfront turning crisp with earthy straw, bark and bitter apple in the dry, lasting finish.

16 oz can. Crystal clear, golden appearance. Aroma is cracker with minerals. Flavor follows with a distinctive earthy notes with a cracker / bread malt. Finish starts earthy and then becomes clean. For the style of beer, it is good.

Draught at the brewery, 5/17/23. Clear, blonde-honey. White head to ring quickly. Big, complex grain nose, with corn, barley, biscuit and high attenuation. Low but apparent Spalter hops add a touch of grass and mild herb. Clean. Some big mineral and basement notes. Light, super dry, not quite the depth of some of their lagers but still with interesting notes of papier mache, earth, dried herb. Snappy, with more honey-like malt depth emerging as it warms. An interesting one. Not the mega Mal depth but with interesting cracker and biscuit-like grain notes. Maybe a bit too round and bready on the finish.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some lacey white head.  Nose is honey and white bread and pale grist, a little corn.  Flavor is grainy, doughy, light lemon, a little buttery corn.  Finishes with some body and some roundness.  Finishes defies the overall simplicity.  6 4 6 4 12
