We've taken inspiration from beyond the cosmos for this golden-hued Strong Golden Ale and added Galaxy hops to impart passionfruit and peach qualities to its profile of ripe fruit and light peppery spice.

Solid for a modern American version. Has that USA feel, but stays true to the classic just enough. It is a bit foggy and chewy, I’d prefer cleaner. Beer temple ams

Cheap can off the bargain shelf. Pour is hazy yellow orange. Smell is a sweet alarming volatile mess. Head thins to pond scum white froth. First big swig is less offensive than I though it would be, thank you. Yes, some cloying sweetness in there, but not like so many other rude ass domestic attempts at a beldgy trip. Nice lacing half way thru. Toward the middle, I'm still liking the palate attitude of this, much better than expected. Goes down fairly easy for a 9%. Decent level of co2 as well. Yep, it looks like CG got the line on the high alky beldgies with this one. Getting some banana and hints of hefe in there. A little bit of whisky and a tad of pepper starting to come thru in the finish. In the end, I'm really surprised about the civility of this brew, measures up with many old country trippels. Good overall strong ale beer tasting experience.

Can from the advent calendar, drunk watching the Blinders after successfully replacing my espresso machine's water heater unit. Lightly hazy gold, small head, nose of sweet grain mash and fresh hay. Flavor is filled with honey and flower buds, subtle fruity berry and peach notes, moderate acidity and nice hop bitterness combined with that big sweet body. Pretty tasty.

355 ml can from Beer Republic advent calendar poured into a Trappist glass. Clear golden colour with amber tinges and a thin white head. Sweet aroma with green apples, pepper, spicy notes, yeasts, and fruits. Hints of booze. The taste is sweet. Full body. Slightly drying fruity finish. Nice Belgian Golden.
