35cl blik van Beer Republic Advent ‘23. Iets mistig diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, koriander en kristalsuiker, iets bloemig, hint van citrusschil, licht hoppig, druiven, bittere finish. Medium body. Degelijk.

12 fl. oz. can from the Beer Republic advent calendar. Fat golden and slightly cloudy one the glass, more than one finger white foamy short living head. Little bit fruity with caramel on the nose. Taste is soft tropical fruity with caramel, some yeast, some marzipan. Below average carbonated, mid bitterness. Not bad.

Pours orange with a small and dissapearing lacing white head. Aroma: belgiany, spiced malts, esters and just a touch of alcohol. Taste: fruity esters, heavy spiced malts, yeast and mild floral hops. Sweet booziness. Nice american brewed belgian ale.

Can from Loz's Beer Republic Bier Adventskalender and consumed at home Wednesday 27th December 2023 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and cooking Orzo with Hickory Smoked Lamb. Pours warm syrupy gold with a large fast disappearing white head, the syrup comment was probably influenced by the taste which is also a little sweet and syrupy but it's still in Belgian territory. Thick in the mouth, a little bit boozy, warming, Belgian yeasty touches showing. Nice mouthfeel but carbonation could be better.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour do have the classic yeasty, spicy sweetness of a strong Belgian Blond. There's a touch of liquorice in there too. Good match to the style.

Burk från SB. Klar gyllengul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Maltig sötma, fruktig och pepprig. Just pepparn är det som slår igen mest i smakbilden. Ok balans men kanske inte så stort smakdjup. Ok

Can 355ml @ Home. Pours very slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, pepper, belgian yeast and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with long warm, fruity and light spicy finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan (April 2023). Faintly cloudy dark yellow with a large spongy light beige head, vanilla aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter malty taste with basement flavors, faint vanilla-honey, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very well covered ABV.
