Rye DIPA DDH with Nelson, Mosaic Cryo, and Hallertau Blanc
Most of our DIPAs are bright, fruity, and juicy... not The Dragon! It's a different sort of hoppy beer, that balances tropical against dank, spicy against winey. It is brewed with barley, wheat and rye. We hop it with a blend of varieties that contain high levels of 3S4MP, the same aroma compound that provides Sauvignon Blanc wine its distinct grapefruit-rhubarb aroma.

16 oz can. Hazy yellow appearance. Aroma is soft, white grape on top of grapefruit. Flavor follows with a little bit of tropical fruit. Citrus peel bitterness. A certain amount of juicy character that also shows a little bit of a stringency.

Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque, light yellow, thin head, nice lacing. Aroma strong grapefruit, herb, cracker, citrus astringency. Taste is strong citrus, grapefruit, white grape, cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste.

Aromas are a common but good blend of resin, citrus, MJ and malt. Flavors are like nose, leaning mildly sweet with enough bitter and carbonation to be tasty. Good stuff.

Tap. Pours hazy gollden yellow, meidum off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is tropical, dank, white grape, tangerrine. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Medium body.
