Can at home from CW online. A thick pitch black coloured pour with a lasting lastig dark tan head. Aroma is big dirty liquorice, bitter dark chocolate, some hot alcohol, fragrant pine needles, verging on toilet cleaner. Flavour is composed of big bitter roast, oil slick, dark chocolate, liquorice, sticky pine sap. Don't think the sabro adds a lot to this. Palate is thick and chewy, oily, velvety, mellow carbonation. Big and bold, a bit muddled.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black with a light brown head. Aroma is super hoppy, underlying fruit, tropical, coconut. Taste is bitter hops, tropical fruit, coconut, roasted malts balances, but the hops live on the tongue.

Can at home, from CW online, 01/05/21. Pitch black with a good sized dirty tan cap that stays for the show ... a handsome looking beer! Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, light roast, spice, burnt toffee, dusty hops. Taste comprises sweet malts, light pine, sugars, hint of Sabro but rather masked in the sweet undertones, light charr, hop spice, dried fruits, chocolate melt. Full bodied, smooth massaging carbonation with an oily feel, light rising boost and a trace of resinous hop bitterness. Not bad but like the others in the series just too sweet and sticky and lacking drinkability for a CDA.

Can from Cloudwater Online, 11th April 2021. Pours a beautiful slick, silky black liquid, amazing, stains the glass brown. Aroma is liquorice, roasted malts, coconut, loads of hops, citrus. Taste is slick, bitter sweet, orange, chocolate, liquid dark bounty bar, heady, spiky pine and sticky caramel with a hop tempered bitter bite. Super smooth mouth feel. I love this, like the others on the series, it’s a super hopped imperial stout. Actually I hear this was batch of Continuous Improvements that was repurposed

440ml can. Pitch black with a dense brown head. Aroma of citrus, chocolate, subtle coconut. Taste is very hoppy, zesty citrus, piney, some light coconut, pineapple, loads of very sweet chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, light hop bitterness at the end, light booze. Full bodied, very thick, smooth. Yep, more of that super sweet thick MCI base with a huge load of hops. Fun stuff.

440ml can. Sweet, heavy and coconutty hoppy with loads of roastiness, some tropical notes, coffee, licorice, fruits, pine and resin. Quite sweet and heavy. Almost feels like a pastry stout.

Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this one, but the coconut balances it well and is mild enough. Soft smooth, hoppy

Appearance is oily jet black, with a small fizzy tan head. Looks the part. Aroma is vanilla, orange, fair bit of citrus fruit, fruit salad. Taste is thick chocolate orange milkshake, hoppy fruit, vanilla, chocolate torte, biscuity dark malt, liquorice, hints of blackcurrant and berry fruit, very full mouthfeel, sweet thick chocolatey finish.
