A Black IIPA to celebrate our sixth birthday! The beer is packed full of Citra and Amarillo, as well as a touch of Sabro. So expect huge tropical and citrus flavours to sing over the light bitterness in this deceptively fruity dark beer.

Keg draught at Kraft Werks, Nottingham. Brownish black and cloudy with a beige/khaki head. Malty aroma, some gummy resin, earthy character, pine. Taste is sweet, very malt led but with some sharp almost minty hop. Finish has notes of yeast extract and bitter cooking chocolate. It's a messy ber but a know there is a good beer inside it, therefore the high-ish rate.

440ml can from Beers of America. A very murky dark brown coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, hoppy, citrus, pine taste and aroma. Slight bitterness with a little chocolate in there too. This was very nice indeed.

Can sourced from Beyond Beer and shared at home (14/07/2022) - black with a nice puffy tan head. Dark roasted malty and solid piney hoppy, some tropical fruity action coming through, pine needles, cola cubes, dark roasted malty and punchy hoppy into the close, very nice CDA.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop, Hamburg and consumed at home Friday 8th July 2022 about to cook Lamb Keema Curry and Poppadoms, also listening to Katy J Pearson - Sound of the Morning. Pours a murky very dark brown merging towards black with a large off white head, lovely BIPA, nice softness in the mouth, but a light roastiness and flurry of citrus flood through. Crap rating, but great beer.

440ml can. Opaque, dark brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of mandarine, orange, a touch of lemongrass, orange flavoured chocolate. Taste is citrusy fruity and slightly grassy, minimally metallic hoppy, chocolately, dark malty basis, notes of lemon, a touch of tangerine, orange flavoured chocolate. Creamy texture, super-soft, smooth palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well hopped, a bit simple and monotonous on the malty side, excellent mouthfeel - not bad, but not as good as the Good Weekend.
