17/VIII/24 - 1Pt. can @ GBV No-Festival-Bottle-Share, BB: n/a, “Can’t Die Me Love” (2024-765) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: wow, very dank, very hoppy, bit earthy, some alcohol, a bit cheesy, you can almost chew the hops just by smelling it. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, good hoppy bit, nice roast, alcohol touch, dank hops, a bit earthy, a hint of chocolate. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, malty, sweet, hoppy, more roast, decent!

Dark brown, thin head. The aroma is minty, hoppy, lots of chocolate. Lots of hop, big sweet malt, but the bitterness is mellow, which allows the chocolate to come through. And there's herbal note that goes over top of this, too. Excellent.

473mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out bold roasted malt, intense piney hops, and some earthiness -- smells fantastic. Flavour is robust, with a wonderfully intense balance of piney hops, big roasted malt, and a hint of earthiness. Mmm, this is jizzingly good -- yes, more (imperial) black IPAs like this, Third moon -- ditch the chalk. Bitter pine and roasty in beautiful balance. Excellent.

Can, courtesy of Sergey
Black colour, brown head. Full bodied, it's smooth, it has mild residual sweetness, accents of roasted malt, but not aggressive or ashy as some other Black IPAs can be; alcohol warmth in the finish, and infinitesimal fruitiness.
Very good.

16oz (thx, Chris S.!) on Alex's porch shared with Ryan. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: a weird mix of hops and roasted malt, maybe with some meaty notes. Taste: along the same lines, a bit boozy, finishes with roasty bitterness. Overall: an ok one, not that great as the Conjuration #4.

Re-rate: poured from 473mL can (2023 vintage). Very dark brown with small beige head. More intense hops, lots of pine, enjoying this much more than original, nice pine bomb cascadian dark. May 28, 2022 (7/3/7/3/15=3.5): Poured from 473mL can (canned 19 Jan 2022). Very dark brown with small beige head. Mild chocolate notes, earthy hops. In terms of Black IPAs from Third Moon, I do prefer Conjuration.
