Panda to home, thanks to SHIG, 29/07/20. Light haze on a golden pour with a moderate off white cap. Nose is apple skin, grass, toasted malts, melon, phenols. Taste comprises stewed fruits, grass, hint of toffee apple, hint of peach, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Fine for the style.

25/7/2020. Bottle from Beer Cockermouth (beergb.com), and shared with the SHIG at our second Cumbrian bottle share. Pours clear pale golden amber with a small frothy off-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is fruity, citrus, caramel, floral, and little stewed. Medium sweetness and light bitterness with a touch of tart. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Fruit strudel finish. Sweet, but I quite liked that about this one, which was the best of their 5 at the bottle share.

Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - definitely shandy. Taste - more shandy or lemon barley water. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - not special but very refreshing. A good beer for the occasion.
