500ml bottle. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, biscuit, citrusy hop. Taste is malt, caramel, toffee, with some mellow orange citrus hop bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle: BBE 08/2015. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home during 03/2015. Pale amber/golden body with a thin white topping. Nose and taste both leaning towards a caramel/toffee flavour, the hops arriving later in the taste to give a mild bitter finish. Decent enough blend, but lacked a real bite or depth of flavour.

Cask Conditioned at The Castle, Furnival St., London
Hazy golden color; small head. It’s very perfumy in the beginning, hoppy; it disappears, leaving some cookie aroma, light apples too. The body is not very strong; there is a good flavor of lightly crispy malt, toffee, cookies; correct bitterness; dryish at the end. Quite good.
