Inari in Japanese mythology is a good deity, most commonly associated with rice. There are a few ways that Inari is depicted, sometimes as a bearded man riding a fox or as a woman with long hair carrying sheaves of rice. Foxes, symbolising benevolence and malevolence, are thought to be the messenger of Inari, they can be seen in and around shrines to Inari.

For this beer we have brewed a rice lager with a simple malt bill, new world hops and jasmine flowers. This beer is light, dry and floral. Raise a toast to the rice deity.

Pretty sure this is my first Japanese Jasmine Rice Lager! Pours a clear pale god with a frothy white head and a soft floral/herbal aroma. Crisp and a little fruity, floral with some savoury bitterness and a dry finish, has a slightly burnt aftertaste

Can at home. Pours clear golden, nose is lemon, floral, grass, hay, taste is similar, sweet, could do with more jasmine to drown out the lager!

Thin white head on clear, slowly carbonating pale golden coloured body. Tobacco & floral aroma. Medium bodied, lively, sharp & dry. Herbal, tobacco, earthy, light malt & grainy tastes with a tangy lightly hopped finish. Interesting alternative to a lager.

Can. Almost clear paleish gold beer, tiny white head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crisp bite. Smooth pale malts, the sweetness of which blends well with the floral sweetness coming from the Jasmine flowers. A mild lager tang and just a modest citric hop before a semi dry and crisp finish. Nice lager. If there had been a little more citric hop punch to cut through the floralness, this would have been a great lager.
