Tap @ Væskebalancen Bar, Aarhus. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, carrot, spicy and tart. Flavor is quite sweet and slightly acidic. Sweet and slightly acidic finish. 010225

(Draught at Beer Merchants Tap, Hackney Wick, London, 22 Nov 2024) Cloudy orange colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with cinnamon, orange, carrots and vanilla. Fruity, tart taste with notes of orange, passionfruit, carrot cake, vanilla and guava. No bitterness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. This sounded like a really bad idea, but actually turned out quite tasty, with lots of tart tropical fruit added to the carrots. Very nice.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Milky orange pour. Orange toffee, sweet potato & apricot aromas. Peach, orange toffee &sweet root veg flavours, splosh of carrot cake & pumpkin pie. Sweet fruity finish. Interesting brew.

Cloud, carrot-orange beer either a thin orange-tinged head. Sweet, spiced aroma. Flavour has a little cakey, sugary sweetness, vanilla, some warming spice. Nicely balanced and very tasty.

Hazy carrot colour beer, not much of a head. Nose is a good take on carrot cake. Smooth palate on the front end, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Sweet carrot, very sweet and it goes well with a little vanilla. Cinnamon has been used with a heavy hand and that throws this promising beer off. Finishes slightly citric and carrot, still more vanilla and still more Cinnamon. Back the cinnamon off and just a bit more carrot and I think this would be spot on. One of those nearly genius beers that ultimately falls short.

375ml bottle. Opaque orange, obviously, with no head. Aroma of vanilla, cake, carrots. Taste is sweet, lots of vanilla, sponge cake, carrots and mild cinnamon. Thick full body. This works surprisingly well.
