What a thrill to see Moor, and what a thrill to see a Festbier. Keg draught at the Horse & Plough, Bingham. Dark, brassy gold, a little bit hazy. Light, malty aroma with a little bit of gummy resin. Bittersweet taste, a bit metallic with intense leafy hop nearer the finish. Light body, carbonation on the heavy side. Okay, there's not much to it. But it's lovely to be able to try these beers.

Keg at Beer Emporium, Bristol, 07/10/23. Clear golden blonde with an off white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is cereals, grains, pale malts, straw, herb. Taste comprises hedgerow, light breads, lemon rind, corn, cereals, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from OG Clapton Craft. Pours clear orange-gold with a fading, foamy white topping. Medium sweet flavour, somewhat grainy, notes of apple, lightly toasted biscuits, a nip of caramel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, a little bready, some sugary malts. Not great.

440ml can. Almost clear golden, small white head. Aroma of grains and a light herbal hoppiness. Taste is the same, grainy malts, grassy and light herbal hop spice, light bitterness. That's about it. Very inoffensive. Not great, not terrible.

Keg at Moor taphouse. Golden with a moderate white head. Malty with a little hop spice. Not exciting but decent

Tap at Moor Vaults London. A mostly clear orange golden coloured pour with a fading white halo . Aroma is lager, earthy grains, grassy hop, bitter, light apple. Palate is dry crisp grains, grass, high gassy carbonation.. Flavour is composed of pretty generic lager qualities, earthy grains, grassy hop, fizzy, light apple, sileage. Disappointing.
