Up next in our quest for West Coast perfection, Looking Glass is a modern interpretation made with an interesting mix of both lager and ale yeast.

Dry-hopped with Simcoe Cryo, Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic to provide fruit character with restrained bitterness, clean and dry, with no pine or caramel notes whatsoever. Just a straight up banging West Coast IPA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours mostly clear, pale gold with a foamy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, fairly pithy, some pithy citrus, mild pine, lean pale malts, slight floral notes. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Fairly floral to finish, a little white grape, lemon rind, mellow warmth. Nice.

440ml can. A slightly hazed golden, white head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, pine. Taste is very citrusy, lots of orange and grapefruit, some pine, moderately bitter - would've liked more. A decent IPA.

Keg at Two Flints taproom, Windsor, Berks. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, pine taste, aroma similar. A decent enough IPA, my first beer from Two Flints.

Can online from Hop Vault, Stourbridge. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: citrus, pine. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, grapefruit, light pine. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Needs more bitterness for a WCIPA imo.
