Can from Utobeer, Borough Market. Reddish orange pour with a white head. Piney, citrusy nose. Taste is orange marmalade, pine, touch of apricot jam. Heavy hoppy action, certainly leaves its mark. Definitely an 'old skool' vibe about it. Very nice.

Can. Hazy deepish orange gold beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, sweet enough to provide some balance for this brew. The hops are interesting combo, smooth citrus with smooth pine leads to the back end and the candyish fruitiness of modern Mosaic along with a touch of the bonkers Zappa skittles. Finishes smooth and fairly dry with some mild pithy bitterness developing and more juicy hop fruits. Nice job, I liked the contrast of Mosaic and Zappa candy characters with the overall bitterness. Layered and drinkable.

440ml can. Hazy orange with a big off-white head. Aroma of pine, resin, orange and grapefruit, marmalade. Taste is very piney, resinous, sweet marmalade and caramel, orange and grapefruit, then huge amounts of bitterness! This really does remind of the good old days of craft beer. I've not tasted a WC DIPA this well brewed in years!

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a light haze. Decent white head. Some floaters in suspension. Get your vitamins in! Nose - resin, pine, cake and toffee. Some guava and candied stone fruit. Taste - lemon menthol and herbs. Candied lemon and light spice. Palate - medium bodied, total bittersweet thing going on through middle and finish. Tangy texture and lightly boozy too. Overall - a bit gnarly this, but does the job nicely.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy deep golden body with sediment floating beneath a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, pine and lemon. Flavour of Lockets and resin with a bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A nice tribute to the mega bitter IPAs of ten years ago.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is oily, sappy, resinous, pithy, zesty, zingy citrus, orange marmalade, pomelo, touch floral, some mango and bread. The is firm, dry, sappy, oily, resinous, pleasing punchy hit of bitterness which builds and lingers, green, west coast dankness, peppery spice, pithy, zesty, orange peel, kumquat, tangerine, campari, negroni vibes, touch of peach, mango and boozey action with a drying finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Works very well. I miss IBUs.
