440ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of pine, resin, roast malt, chocolate, citrus fruits. Taste of roasty and chocolatey malts, grapefruit, pine, resin, caramel, citrus peel, very bitter finish. Medium bodied. A great BIPA and great addition to the Oregon Trail.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of blackberry jam, citrus, cola,touch of coffee. Flavours of licorice toffee, citrus, blackberries. Fruity uber hoppy finish.

Can at home in the garden from the Hive, Crowthorne, 15th April 2023. Pours jet black, big white head. Aroma is chocolate and pine needles, grapefruit and pith with cocoa. Taste is cocoa, pine needles and pith, grapefruit and roasted malts, extremely well balanced, with a hoppy bitter finish. Fantastic BIPA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Elusive online. Pours rich brown with a frothy, mocha topping. Moderately sweet with sturdy bitterness, burnt pine, orange peel, nice toasted malts, a hint of cocoa, ash, black coffee, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely resinous finish, some ash, cocoa, earthy and toasted pine bitterness, dried citrus peel. Burnt biscuits. Nice and toothy, refreshingly bitter. Outstanding.
