0.44 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in March 2023. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut and some licorice. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty taste of dark chocolate, mocha, licorice and roasted hazelnut, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty and intense Imperial Stout, not as delicious and smooth as Kees' Caramel Fudge Stouts though, not saying that hot fudge has anything to do with a caramel fudge.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 25/06/23. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is chocolate, toffee fudge, spice, charr, dark malts, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, booze, light medicinal notes, roasted bite, chocolate, honeycomb. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. It's an okay sipper but not a great ... just has a light medicinal aspect to it which you'd normally associate with Islay barrel or the like and I wasn't expecting.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A thick sark brown coloured pour with a fading khaki head. Aroma is medium char, burnt sugars, some black coffee, boozy burnt cake. Flavour is composed of intense dark chocoalte, burnt cake, fudge, bitter chocolate, alcohol, burnt cake ends, charred dried fruits, . Palate is medium sweet, tagy, alcohol warmth, oily, bitter, mellow carbonation. Good. Intense stuff.

440ml can. Pouts pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma of liquorice, molasses, dark fruits/malts. Taste is mostly liquorice, molasses, dark malts, a bit of burnt caramel, really very little fudge or chocolate flavour in this, bitter boozy finish. Full bodied. As a straight up stout it's ok, but good grief what a disappointment and waste of a collab this was. Surprisingly poor effort.
