The last Black IPA that we brewed was packaged into bottles, which tells us that it's definitely been too long waiting for the next one to come around. But here we are, finally - Dawn Will Wait has a lot of the characteristics you know and love from our hazy IPAs, but with a lovely dark body and solid malt backbone. Citra & Columbus take centre stage on the hop front, with a beautiful finish of coffee & burnt toast which is where you know this definitely a different style of IPA!

Keg at Taphouse, Copenhagen. Pours deep brown with a tan cap. Aroma: roasted malt, piney hops. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, semi-dry, earthy, decent balance of roast malts & piney hops. Medium body with fine carbonation. My kind of BIPA, it was excellent.

150ml draught, from a sample tray at Taphouse. Patches on the surface of a coal black body, fair lacing. Inviting aromas of pine needles and grainy malts. Balanced taste character of pine needles and dark chocolate malts, added by a backdrop of coffee. Rounded malt-fruity tail, lightly roasted. Like it. (Copenhagen, 03.05.2023).
