Norway’s Amundsen brewery are famous for their dessert stouts, so naturally when they came to brew a beer with us we wanted to make something sweet and luxurious. This imperial stout is fully loaded with big flavours of chocolate & toffee and we’ve gone without the lactose that we would normally use to make this one completely vegan.

Can at Malmö Crew Christmas tasting at Palace Hall (17/12/2022) - sweet chocolate malty with milky chocolate, caramel and toffee, medium plus body, dark milky malty finish. Can at home in Hackney - picked up from The Experiment. Pours black-brown with a cream tan topping. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich chocolate mousse, mellow roast, raisins accents, cocoa powder. Full bodied, velvety, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky, more layered chocolate, soft roast, dark fruit notes, a hint of burnt toffee. Very tasty.

13/12/2022. Can shared by ITFCDan, cheers. Pours black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of milk chocolate, Milky Way, chocolate pudding, caramel, nut, marshmallow. Quite heavy milky chocolate sweetness with light roasted bitterness. Full bodied, creamy, soft carbonation. Very nice.

440ml can. Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, fudge, toffee, caramel. Taste is sweet, rich, chocolate cake, fudge, caramel, toffee, even some coffee notes too. Thick, full bodied, syrupy smooth. Fantastic.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Ooh that nose 😍..chocolate fudge, chocolate cake, cocoa, cappuccino, caramel, lots of C's. Rich warming flavours of chocolate cake, sweet creamy coffee, fudge, cocoa, coconut. Rich velvety texture. Uber rich throat warming action. Superb!
