Cloudy yellow colour. Fruity and yeasty with nice hints of caramel. Quite strong but very quaffable and thirst-quenching.

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, grain, yeast, lightly sweet fruit. Flavor of wheat, yeast, light fruit, all rather weak. Thin body, average carbonation. 130812

Taking a break in Lichtenfels, we ran into 2-3 pubs with seemingly very interesting selections, only to discover they were closed for Easter. And then we ran into one that was open and had some Weismainers. Yay! This might’ve been on tap & thanks Morko! It poured a murky yellow body, quite lovely. Thick white head of course. Pungent nose, cloves & banana. Slightly sweaty. The taste is soft, chalky, sweet banana and cloves, very light bitterness at the end. Cute, drinkable weisse.

Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head and lacings. Sweet nose. Banana and esters. Cloying sweet flavor of wheat, banana, bubblegum and yeast. Medium bodied. Too sweet.

Bottle looks good, although I dont like that twist-off cap. Beer in the glass darker than exspected, nice head. Starts fruity like apricot, modest sourish, not too yeasty. Finish well balanced, less sourish, still fine fruity. I liked it!
