Bottle at home, amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, sweet, calvados, barrel, apple, some alcohol, raisins, light vanilla. Taste is the same, sweet, bitter, malty, caramel, calvados, raisins, fruit, vanilla, wood, alcohol warmth, very nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before December 2027. Slightly hazy, deep orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy, quite fruity aroma of orange peel, mulled wine, honey, vanilla, ripe apple, cinnamon and a touch of clove. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather fruity, slightly yeasty-spicy and gently boozy taste of mulled wine, cinnamon, ripe apple, honey, vanilla, some orange peel and a touch of clove, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little woody, boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Lovely stuff, great barrel-aging, maybe a bit too boozy.

Clear dark amber colour, beige foam. Very lovely nose of sweet apples, raisin, vanilla, woody, calvados finish. Great beer.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is apple barrel, mild booze, caramel. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely stuff!
