Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.01.2026) im 2023-06 getrunken. Dieses schwarze Sour Ale startet mit tollen Aromen von Aprikosen und etwas Vanilie. Am Gaumen ist der Säuregehalt sehr gut mit der Laktose ausbalanciert. Zur der Frucht kommt ein feine Malzaroma dazu. Sehr spannend - sehr lecker!

Taster at BeerGeek Bar. Black, opaque. AROMA- vanilla, lactose, raisins, prunes. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, slightly sour, no bitterness, prunes, plums, raisins, figs, vanilla, lactose. Fuller bodied. Great.

Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, almost black. No head. Aroma: Sweet and tart at the same time, vanilla, fruity red and dark fruit notes, Rum. Taste: Mix of dark malt, roasted malt, red fruit (raspberry), sweetish and boozy Rum, vanilla. Full body, very low carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate fruity tartness. Lightly sticky and quite dense mouthfeel. Unusual, complex, quite nice and well balanced, but Pastry Sour just seems to be not one of my most favorite styles.
