Draught@TCBW2023. Coppery brown colour with a small off-white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some sweet toffeeish tones with Port Wine and mild wooden tones along with a bit cherries, and some slight alcohol sweetness. Flavour is dried fruits, port wine, some toasted tones along with alcohol and some plum as well as some wooden tones. Good sipper.

Slightly aged sample Colour of dark cognac and pouring as cognac - no carbonation whatsoever. -1 point for the irritating wax. Alcohol, fusels, alcohol-drenched nuts, portwine, dried red and yellow fruit. Sweet, portwine; alcohol & fusels, nuts, X-mas cake, dried fruit as figs, dates, raisins - indeed. Chewy, oily, rich, fiery; almost uncarbonated, flat. Bit lame MFwise, fiery alcohol, but - oh, good! Txs to Joren & friends!

Well stored bottle @ home. Quite clear, brown/amber body under a small beige head. Low carbonation. Aroma has a lot of port, with dark malt, dry fruit and alcohol. Taste is also quite much in the direction of port, sweet malt, sweet dark fruit, dry fruit, mild wood, warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Actually, had this over two days, first day it felt nice, but quite intense in fruit and alcohol. Corking it and saving it to the next day, also served a bit colder made it very nice. A really nice sipper it is, lots and lots of flavors and strong on the port part. A treasure when giving it some time to enjoy probably and not just another festival shot.
