YG 250524. copper color with a white head. Aroma is perfume, lime, ginger, spices. Flavor is lime, ginger, fruit, spices, funk, yeast. Weird beer.

Can. A lightly hazy copper colored beer with a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma is a bit alcoholic; with peppery notes, lots of oriental spices and a generic fruityness. Some saison yeast hints. It's full-bodied and warming, softly carbonated, and quite spiced. Perhaps a bit too heavy on the ginger. Some honey hints too. It's full-bodied, warming and sweet on the palate, with mostly fruity flavors. Honey, oriental spicyness, flowers and perfume, some pale malts and a hint of corinth raisins. Lasting fruity, spiced finish. There's lots of complexity and delicious aromas and flavors here, but it feels a bit messy and like the brewer has tried to cram everything into one small package. 240525

7-4-7-3-14 On tap @ 7 Fjell Bryggeri, 10-årsjubileum. Pours hazy mahogany, with a small rocky off white head. Aroma is yeasty esters with wet hay, dark fruits, musty apples and leather, as well as wooden barrels. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart yeasty esters, with wet hay, dark fruits and leather, as well as herbal notes and wooden barrels. Dry finish.

330 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 11.7%, IBU 29. Moderately hazy brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Nice aroma of malts, caramel, brown sugar and mild spices. The flavour has the same elements, also some fruitiness (dried and fresh figs), and is not too sweet. Good beer.
