Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of ginger, pepper, spices, caramel, some ethanol. Tastes sweet some bitterness. Medium bodied. Interesting, but too sweet.

Can @ home. Unclear amber body under a thin, fast disappearing off-white head. Unusually aroma of malt, toffee, ginger, pepper and some other kind of spices I’m not able to identify. Taste is medium sweet malt, red berries, spices, overripe, close to rotten fruit, hint of ginger and saison yeast. Alcohol is well hidden for a beer at this ABV. Balanced body and slightly harsh in aftertaste. Sure, something interesting and exiting is going on, but for me this was just too messy and close to unpleasant. I guess it might work with just a festival sample or similar, but for me this was the whole can for myself trying to match my beetroot, blue cheese and warm hazelnut salad without any success.

0,33 boks fra VPBS, hjemme: nesten klar kobbergylden med ok skum. Nydelig krydret, nesten pepret aroma og smak med kardemomme, det iranske krydderet sumak, bitterappelsiner, mørk kandis og hint av kraftig lynghonning. Kryddertonene blir hengende lenge, og vitamininnholdet varmer både kropp og sjel. Et minneverdig øl og virkelig et jubileum verdig.

7 Fjell rating #100 - Brown with an off white head - Malt aroma with some dark fruity tones - Malt body with some caramel flavours along with dark fruity tones and some spicy notes - Dark malt finish with some caramel and some alc heat in the back - This was good

Draught, kindly shared by bergstaden, from 7 Fjell Bar, Bryggerifestivalen '23. Covering off-white head, almost clear amber body, spotty lacing. Inviting smell of farmyard and caramel malts. Rich flavours of caramel malts syrup, and dried fruits, joined by spicy moments. Ends with lingering sweet malts and dried fruits sustained by warmth from the alcohol. Full bodied.
