330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 21, thanks Mark for this! Deep amber, off-white head. Lovely barley wine character to taste, probably lighter bodied than a standard quadrupel, some mild figs coming through, fruitcake but no red wine barrel-aging influence unfortunately. Decent overall.

Fun Boy Five: 22nd November 2021, Beer Share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys splitting beers. Cheers Mark for the penultimate beer of the evening. Dark pour, no head to speak of. Dates and boozy Quad, liked it.

Black colour, minimal head. Aroma is red wine, redcurrant, almond, cherry. Medium sweetness, lightly sour. Good.
