dark amber brown color. Slightly cloudy. Lots of herbs, a touch of crystallized caramel, stewed spiced orange. Modestly bitter. Very herbaceous, dry and fairly. Super botanical finish. Bizarre but pretty damn good.

Bottle split at the Grand Reunion Tasting at MM, thanks to Leighton, 20/05/21. Lightly hazed golden with a decent egg shell white covering. Nose is grass, yeast esters, herb, barnyard dusting, damp wood. Taste comprises yeast esters, lemon rind, white peppery spice, clove, damp cloth, wood must, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad.

Bottle shared in High Wycombe - picked up from Etre, maybe. Pours lightly unclear red-brown with a modest, foamy off-white head. Weird, moderately sweet, lots of interesting spices, herbs, some toasted malts, a little yeast, graham crackers. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, some thyme, raisins, bready malts, berries, perhaps some ginger, leafy bitterness. A zany, peculiar beer.
