Orange-colored Trappist beer from Italy, with a pleasant balance in malty, spicy and fruity flavors. The orange peel gives an extra fruity and bitter character. Slightly sweet in taste with a fairly dry, fairly bitter aftertaste.

Licht zoetig, citrus, sinaasappel, zoet-moutig.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierwinkel Alkmaar', best before January 2022. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity, slightly floral-grassy aroma of orange peel, some grass and a touch of banana. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity, gently grassy and a bit floral taste of orange peel, fresh grass and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-crafted beer, really refreshing and a great example for the style. Good!

Hazy dark blond colour with solid head. Aroma and flavour have light malt sweetness and orange rind bitterness. Well balanced and easy to drink. A vast improvement on their original offering.
