A super silky body followed up with notes of fresh Papaya and Passionfruit, a hint of White Pear, Orange jelly wedges, Muscat Grape Hi-Chew candies, and a fat friggin’ pile of fresh sticky icky. We’ve been vibing on dankness with the last few releases, and this really hit a sweet spot with turning that up a few notches. Nelson plus Enigma plus Columbus?! A little Motueka and Citra for extra fruit?! You know the deal. Hell yeah, this baby rips!
We each brewed up roughly the same beer, but with our own little tweaks in process and timing. See if you can’t get your hands on our version and theirs for a fun side-by-side. Or don’t. We’re not your parents. No rules, 2020.

Cloudy yellow blond beer, big creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, juicy, very fruity, hoppy, lots of grapefruit, a little resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, pretty watery, resinous, very bitter, some grapefruit, a bit juicy, floral notes, ok. Aftertaste: a bit dank, sweet touch, hoppy, tropical fruits, some citrus, lots of bitter orange peel, hoppy, more oranges, juicy, nice!

Can (11/25/20) pour. An opaque dark yellow (orange juice) with no apparent sparkle, finger-plus width off-white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is subtle mix of fruit salad and musky/cooking herbs. Taste is strong musky herb, straw, along with fruit salad/grape. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and crisp, fairly dry yeasty finish. Overall, lacking a true fruit identity but a nice mix with the herbal quality. Decent.

16 oz. can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom! Aroma and flavor are the same. A little bit of herb, pine, fruit, and some straw character. Juicy texture at first that then turns dry. Kind of like the kitchen sink here but it works.
