A soft juicy ale that will transport you to pale mountain valleys that are home to hidden battles between fruit and pine notes. There are no winners, just a satisfying conclusion that begs for further exploration.

Light misty gold with small white top. A good fresh floral and fruity aroma. Notes of pink grapefruit, pine, hay, citrus zest, light spice. Light to medium bodied, fairly soft, refreshing, fine to frothy carbonation. Nice indeed. Not sure who brewed this but we are talking top alchemy for the price point. I hope they still made some £££.

8/9/2023. Can from Home Bargains, Martlesham Heath. Pours clear bright golden with a small short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet stewed fruits, caramel, pine. Quite sweet taste, moderate bitterness and body. Oily and fizzy. Really basic and not hugely enjoyable pale ale, maybe what you’d expect from a cheap supermarket fake brew co brand I guess.

440ml can. Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is skunky yeast, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, wet dog, light lemon citrus, fake sugar, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head and light carbonation; tropical fruit aroma; rather soapy in the mouth with a light herbal bitterness, and some sweet malts; then a dry finish with some peach stones. A decent beer for an discount store own-label.

440ml can from a local Home Bargains store: BB 7th March 2023. Drank at home on 2nd December 2022. Clean and clear golden pour, white crown. Nice piney hop aroma and taste, light fruity notes also; all on a malty base. Liked it!

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Golden with a head. Hoppy and the description on the can is pretty solid - piney and fruity, with the former a little more dominant for me. Has a good body.
